Photovoltaic Installation Project on Rooftops of a Seaport Terminal in China

The project is located in Xiamen, Fujian, China, and is a national-level smart photovoltaic pilot demonstration project.

The southern port environment, characterized by high temperatures, high humidity, frequent strong winds, and heavy rainfall, imposes stringent requirements on the wind resistance and moisture resistance of lightweight photovoltaic modules.

Polyshine Solar’s lightweight photovoltaic modules utilize high-polymer encapsulation materials and an innovative quick adhesive installation method. These features provide exceptional performance in resisting long-term moisture corrosion and strong wind damage, making them an ideal choice for seaport terminals and earning this collaboration opportunity.

Additionally, Polyshine Solar’s lightweight and flexible modules weigh only 30% of traditional modules and have a bending radius of up to 0.5 meters. Compared to traditional modules, they can be easily installed on existing rooftops with insufficient load-bearing capacity, such as port logistics warehouses, carports, and arched roofs at gates. This contributes to achieving low-carbon, green, and sustainable development.
