The project is located in Anhui, China, on the rooftop of a cement factory. The roof is a massive semi-circular structure made of color steel tiles, requiring photovoltaic modules that are lightweight, flexible, and non-invasive to the roof surface.
Polyshine Solar photovoltaic modules are 70% lighter than traditional glass modules and have a bending radius of up to 0.5 meters. Their quick adhesive-based installation method causes no damage to the roof and does not disrupt production operations, making them ideal for existing rooftops and perfectly suited to curved roof surfaces. For this project, adhesive installation was used to reduce labor and equipment costs.
Upon completion, the project is expected to generate approximately 5.03 million kWh of clean electricity annually, equivalent to reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 50,337 tons per year.
